I love this forum, it is so helpful and love reading all the post. I am planning to walk the Camino next spring and I can't wait.

I am one of those pilgrims that did not read anything. When I go on Camino I am more interested in contemplation at times; being with others at other times; and enjoying France and Spain.
I also have tried to keep my weight down as much as possible so I don't bring books with me.
There have been some pilgrims that bring books or an iPAD with books on them. That seems to work well for them and would be something I would consider on my next Camino. Regardless of what others have done, feel free to do what feels right for you. There is not a "right" way to do the Camino.
