Anybody know about this.?

Yeah. It’s a bit crazy and the talk now is that they might demolish the whole thing and start over. I don’t know if this includes the stretch directly adjacent to the Camino but I suspect not.

Teams have been dispatched to all of the remaining structures throughout Galicia to do even more thorough examinations.

The part that fell is said to me one of the most expensive pieces of highway in Galicia.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I believe this is the second piece of this highway that has collapsed in recent days.

The first one was reported a few weeks ago.

Though the tweet says it was in O Cebreiro, I read that it was in Vega de Valcarce. Anyone who’s walked that part of the Francés after Villafranca will remember the eerie feeling of walking along a basically deserted highway with a superhighway hundreds of feet above.

I remember that section very well. So it's a section of the superhighway high above that collapsed? Yikes.

I always thought they were amazing and out of context with Camino walk seen them in May. Anybody hurt?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Nobody hurt. That section has been closed for repair so there were no motorists at risk. The few workers that were nearby had a good scare but nothing a decent laundromat couldn’t fix.

The first piece fell a week before this one.

It may have increased traffic on secondary roads from what I read in the paper this last week. Wondering if pilgrims walking now have noticed? It would be the stretch next to the road after Villfranca where there is a concrete barrier between the Camino and the highway.

I hope it's not this section...

It seems to be the section which runs up a diffent valley to the camino. I have driven this road, which takes you to Pedrafita, not O Cebreiro.

It used to be treacherous now the river is there. Me without a fishing pole or permit and a climb ahead.

If Google Maps can be relied upon, the sections of the A6 Autovia (motorway) NOT accessible at present is in very close vicinity to the township of Pedrafita do Cebreiro.

I assume this is probably the section affected.

O'Cebreiro is about 5 km south west of Pedrafita ... on the LU633 highway.

If I have read the Google map correctly, Camino Frances is not even close to the affected section of A6

Kia kaha (take care, be strong)

Gees just did it couple of days ago
One of these is walking into VdV and one is walking out next morning
The last is the view from Saracen castle
