We foolishly forgot our guide book back home. Is there a store that sells it in Porto? We start on Oct 6.

Thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Can't tell you Brierley's book are for sale in Portugal.what I have seen is that they are for sale on line f.ex. at Amazon.com but there is a big bookshop in Porto, Lello Livreria. But I doubt they can help you.
Just follow the yellow markers and you'll arrive in Santiago

What you can do is, send me a pm (conversation ) ...

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Thank you all for the suggestions. We were not able to find the guide book in Porto but equipped with jpgs of the map pages compliments of Albertino and links from Amorfati1 we are on our way and made to Vila do Condo without losing our way, at least not too much.

Bom caminho . Good to know you ended up in Vila do Conde.
Next stop can be the albergue in São Pedro de Rates. They have the best stamp for your credential of the caminho Portuges, a bicoloured one ! If the albergue is closed
Opposite is a kind of groceryshop where the key is and where you can obtain this stamp.
Or you can walk on to Pedra Furada where is a bar and where they rent some rooms.but if, give them a call on beforehand I should advise..

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
