Does anyone have the bus schedule from Canfranc estacion to Jaca or which bus line to check? Also does anyone have an inexpensive place to stay in Jaca in case we decide to hole up 2 days and wait out the rain?

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!

i have stayed in the grand hotel a number of times. they have roof top mini golf and a great pool. the breakfast is epic. There are a number of out door store neerby for any last minute things you may need.Great, great town

The nice TI lady led us to Casa Mamre, an alternate pilgrim house that is open early. The Albergue does not open until 4 pm and it's too cold to wait. We paid 14 euro each for form bed with breakfast. The showers are heated and the water is hot! There is free wi-fi. Tonight's 3 course dinner will be 8 euros. A very clean friendly place! We have seen only one other dorm pilgrim today. The French pilgrims we met on the train are also here but chose private rooms for 36 euro for a doble. We decided with only one other pilgrim in the dorm it would be prudent to watch our cash.

I learned there is a morning bus to San Juan Pena. We will take it then walk to Santa Celia. We are a day behind schedule but happy.

Annie - don't take the path down from San Juan, it is brutal! If it has been raining it will be lethal. If you can't get a bus, walk on the road and hitch a lift down rather.
Stay safe.
