The belief that it will really happen has set in, and so...32 more school days 34 days until school has dismissed, 38 days until the flight. At this phase of pilgrimage I become aware that being a pilgrim can be quite annoying to others, and even selfish. My math problems involve questions like "How many more kilometers until the albergue?" and "How much weight in ounces should be taken from the pack?" It's everything I can do to resist a field trip with backpacks and a picnic to the nearest hill. So the Camino today provides a test of awareness of others and containing my excitement. Pack, weigh, repack...

Not me! (4 more actual days of students, 5 more actual days of work, 7 total calendar days until my work year is finished, 10 days 22 hours 17 minutes until my flight is scheduled to depart!). My daughter's last day of school is today (YAY!) Her graduation is 7pm May 23, which is why I have to wait until May 24 to depart for Europe haha.

Nope... not me counting down! LMAO

Today is our last day of finals week and university graduation is tomorrow, but still 38 more days until Phil and I leave for Spain.

33 more days until the students last day. 34 more before my last day before break. 35 more days before my flight. Luckily I waited to buy my tickets or I would have had to take a week off as we used some snow days. Buen Camino!
