I've watched many videos about the Camino. This one in my opinion is excellent and worth a look. It's full of history I've not seen before and reminded me of why I walk the way. It takes us on a journey that goes way, way back in time to today. I definitely learned something today and will look at Santiago de Compostela in a new light the next time I'm blessed to arrive there.

Don't worry, The forum's server isn't presenting this, YouTube is. If you click on YouTube videos using the arrow in the center of the video's thumbnail you will see the video embedded within the forum's tab within your browser but it is YouTube passing on the bytes to your browser, not the forum.

If you click on the text at the top then on your smartphone you are likely going to invoke the YouTube app to view the video. That gives you additional features.

I remember seeing this video before. I liked it. BTW, the video's URL is youtu.be/blK3IF51B0M

Excellent piece of work. I researched much of it for my own book. Like them, I made a mistake. Modern historical research and thinking says that the battle of Clavijo never happened therefore Matamoras never happened. My other point of contention is the constant use of the word 'worship'. I don't intend to get into any religious debate but we worship God not saints. This is a misunderstanding of Catholic religion. Having made such an excellent documentary, one would have thought they would get their terminology right

Interesting film. However, it is a pity that the music is not more appropriate, for example music from the Codex Calixtinus. And organ music played on the unique Spanish organs with their horizontal trumpets and divided keyboards.
