These are the stages I used for the Camino Frances. Loosely based on John Brierley,s 31 day guide. "H" at the end of the day indicates that I had reached the point where sanity demanded a hotel for the night. I planned some stages so as to give the best part of the day over to exploring ie. Burgos and Leon and lastly in A Coruna

Bristol to Bordeaux by air on 2/4/16. Train to St Jean on 3/4 first stamp on that date.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I know it looks a little inconsistent but the short days were mainly so that I could spend time in a place and take a break. The longer day's - some were due to the particular stage I had intended to walk and others were a spur of the moment thing. Some day's I reached my daily objective early and simply carried on walking to the next place, sometimes I simply did not feel like stopping ! I had done a reasonable amount of preparation for that trip so the longer distances were not that much of an issue.

Demonstrates the freedom gained by taking each day as it comes, with minimal forward planning.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
