"Camino from 2013 to 2019" paused for now...
I was asked a question on the Camino Inglese tonight and I don't know the answer.

If you pull out at Betanazos (with Credential up to date) do you need to restart at Ferrol, or can you pick up the Camino again at Betanazos.

The person who asked wants (in time) to receive a Compostela

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hola Donal!
Stopping is not a problem as long as he/she resumes at the same place (in this case, Betanzos) and keeps going on to Santiago. Re-starting at Ferrol wouldn't be necessary. Hope that helps!

You can pick up where you left off. Your credential is valid until it receives its final stamp at the Pilgrim Office in Santiago. This allows people to walk their camino in stages. No problem if this takes years.
Just make sure to get a new stamp (including later date) in Betanzos, to show that you started again where you ended earlier.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

It remains valid even past that point. Albergues will accept it as evidence that you are a pilgrim. I even think the Pilgrim Office will stamp it a second time if you do another qualifying 100km. I have done the former, but have always had a "new" credential for the last 100km if I am getting a compostela.
