hello everyone, I walked from Ponferrada to Santiago in September, and now looking for a new adventure, any recommendations or a good source of information on the Invierno? Aliwalks

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hola, Aliwalks!

I'm sure every info you need is already on this forum in that same section dedicated to Invierno you've posted your message. I have made my day-by-day journal from last summer with photos and gps tracks you can find there. Also there is a guide posted in Resources section. I think by next year @peregrina2000 will post updated version.
Also lots of info here:

Hi, Aliwalks, Kinky has already given you the links to most of the good information out there. His day by day report should be very helpful to you too. You can see it here: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/my-camino-de-invierno-july-2014.25355/
My day by day from a few years ago is also posted: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/my-stages-on-the-camino-de-invierno.11151/

As Kinky says, I am working on an update to the short guide we have all put together. It should be done by the end of the year. The one sticking point is trying to get a good estimate of the distances between towns, but we´ll figure it out.

And if you are inclined to do shorter stages than some of the typical longer stages on the Invierno, I put together a possible 15 day walk: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/my-stages-on-the-camino-de-invierno.11151/

Buen camino, Aliwalks, I am predicting that next year will bring a lot more traffic to the Invierno, so you most likely won't walk alone. Even this past summer, I met only one other pilgrim, and then a busload from Ponferrada doing the Invierno together. Laurie

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Folks can anyone advise about the ease. or lack of ease. of pack transport along the Invierno route? Many Thanks Michael.
We’re scoping out accommodation on the Invierno, and @C clearly noticed that Pensión As Viñas is on booking. There is an annotation “new to booking.” Many of us stayed there before the albergue...
