Embarking on one now!
Hello fellow pilgrims!

I will hopefully be starting the Norte from Bilbao today/ tomorrow once I get my head round the walking route and more information. Is anyone else in Bilbao? It'd be grand to hear some tips or have some walking company too!

Buen Camino :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I live in Bilbo. If you read this and want to meet up for a beer so I can answer any questions let me know.

Ondo Ibili !
That would be fab . Are you around today? I'm in the old town. Just deciding what route to take? Beer sounds great!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Oh dear! I.hope you weren't the one with the brown bag? I got there at 7.05. It looks like we missed each other.
Sorry to be a pain butwould you recommend I start the Norte in San Sebastian? This will be my first Camino and although the route Frances is more recommended my instinct is saying do the coastal route? I feel unprepared but my instinct is saying do the Norte!

Don't know if you have al ready decided. It depends on how long you will stay there. We started from Bilbao, after sightseeing we went to Portugalete and go. We met other piligrins that started from Irun, and told that the vizcaya gulf coast is very very nice, but very strong ascents/downhill. However starting from Bilbao you will meet sooner fantastic landscapes. Buen Camino y desfruta la senda costera.
on my previuos post I set my feedback between the 2 caminos Just my opinion not sure it Can help you...by

You,ve probably missed your departure date, but go back to Irun or San Sebastian and start from there, that is the most beautiful part. Get on that train back East. And don't over think it, or things like this May happen again; it really is simple

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

My group of six arrives in Irun on May 20 and we're starting our Camino on May 21. Since it's the beginning of the busy season, I'm wondering if we should order trekking poles from Amazon Espana...
Elevation map shows this is really steep! What’s the best way from downtown Hondarribia up there? Then wish me luck on the Purgatorio—I am a nervous wreck.
On the Norte...started Morgo headed to Santilanna del mer...today...wonderful walk.... 1st 7k and last 7k ...the middle industrail zone was meh. Just past polonca met loverly local spanish...
If anyone is in an albergues in or near Santillana del mar on the 1st of May and comes across Nadia from Ottawa would they kindly point her in the direction of this thread. Thanks all.....
