Hello everyone,
I' am a new member and don't have any expercience with this forum.
I hope that I have choosen the right topic.
We (group of 5 persons) have planned a cycle tour from Tours (France) to Bilbao as second part of our trip to Santiago de Compostela.
We expect to arrive at Bilbao on June 24th and then to fly home (A'dam) the next day.
To protect our bicycles against damage from transport, we need 5 (old) cardboard boxes.
Who knows an adress of a (bi)cycleshop in Bilbao who can deliver this?
I have found and emailed one shop but didn't get any reaction.
Who can help me?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,
My wife (Grainne) and I are about to leave Bilbao after cycling from La Rochelle (3rd part of our Dublin to Santiago trip) and found a good bike shop. La Tienda del Ciclista
Bilbo Bikes. Henson 54, 48009-Bilbao
bilbo bike.com
They packed our bikes in good boxes for €20.00 each but sure you can get a deal for 5.
Shop is close to the Guggenheim Museum and between it and Plaza Federico Moyua.

Good luck on your trip,

Paddy Byrne

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

It always amazes me how easy it is to find a bike box. I've done it 15-20 times without any trouble. If I see a bike shop I stop in.....otherwise I look for a big department store with bikes. One Carrefour in France unpacked a couple of new bikes just to give us the boxes.
