Time of past OR future Camino
May 2024
I will be starting my walk in May 2024. I will have my iphone with t-mobile service, which works fine in most of Europe. My question is for those of you who have been on this route, and had your smartphones on while walking. Did you find that you had cell phone reception most of the way or was it sporadic to none in some areas?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
A selection of Camino Jewellery
Also, if you use apps like Buen Camino or Wise Pilgrim, you can download the data and maps, and the apps can be used offline without a internet connection.
Thank you. I am aware of that. What I’m concerned with is making and receiving phone calls and messages, and reading emails etc., while I’m walking. (Job related)

We had T-mobile on our first Camino and it was great although they may downgrade your speed after a certain amount of use. Now we have another US carrier because T-mobile does not have service where we live.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
