Finisterre (for mom) Fall 2016
Hi --

I would love to walk the Camino in 2010, but prefer solitude so was thinking of starting in spring (April) of 2011. But I so want to want sooner rather than later. I can get a two month unpaid leave of absence, so time off is not the problem.

Any thoughts?

On the Camino Frances there will still be a good number of pilgrims around in 2011 although not at the saturation numbers expected for 2010.

Why not consider yourt choices of routes - if you have 2 months you could walk from France where you would certainly enjoy solitude. Or the Via de la Plata from Seville which is about 5 - 6 weeks + Finisterre. Or the Camino Levante and walk from Valencia.

You could also consider your own starting point - say Gibraltar or wherever and then join one of the lesser used pilgrims routes.

Sooooo many routes... :)

Happy choosing.
