Leaving Lisbon on Wednesday and will be taking my Credential for signing and completing in Santiago. Did I see somewhere that you now have to book in on line and receive a number and time at the Santiago office to get your Credential completed. If so does anybody have a link to the site to register on arrival.

You asked about the website registration, but you should be aware that you can still use a paper credencial if you prefer, and get it stamped as you walk - two stamps per day during the last 100 km.

Yes, but when you use a paper credential the Pilgrim's Office is still asking that you pre-register online. It's part of their new processes to speed up the issuing of Compostelas. Perhaps @t2andreo has some insight into this.

Upon arrival at the pilgrims office in Santiago, there is a sign with the website to use. Fill out the form, you’ll get a number, and you return when your number is called. You don’t fill out the form until you arrive in person.

Be careful - I had my head bit off a few days ago for saying this. Apparently you can fill out the online form in advance, though it was my understanding that you are supposed to do it the day you are due to arrive. Supposedly the online registration stays in the system until you arrive. The day I was there - they had people fill it out again, if they had filled it out prior to arrival. Regardless - I will wait until my arrival day and do it to be safe. I will probably fill it out when I stop for a break, somewhere before Santiago. That way - it is in the system and ready to go when I arrive at the Pilgrim's office to get my ticket.
