crossing from Spain over to SJPP with meds

Camino francés (from SJPP): 2015
Hey there.

I am going to be packing some vitamins, supplements and over the counter pain meds with me. I was planning on putting them all in ziplock bags to reduce weight.

I was wondering about crossing over from Spain to France before starting my Camino (SJPP). Also, I guess that I need to inquire about crossing back over into Spain from France after starting my Camino.

Is there any reason to be concerned? Do I need to take the bottled in which these products were purchased?

Thanks in advance.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

No problem between Spain and France and vice versa since the old frontier exists only as a memory today. Once within the European community there is no border patrol. If you are entering the EC from elsewhere it would be safest to keep the original packaging until you have entered and cleared any formal control.

Great. Thank you for the information.

Shalom and Greetings from Jerusalem!

Margaret gave you the complete answer to your question but a bit of added information may help though. Every good sized town and some large villages along the Camino have well supplied health stores where you can find all the vitamins, supplements and over the counter organic pain meds you may need-plus food supplies. Pop into any pharmacy and ask there too since, as a rule, pharmacists have the best command of English all around and will probably be the only ones around who will understand for what you might be seeking. Similarly, any tourist office and all the good sized town have a tourist office can also point you in the right direction for refills or alternatives. Buen Camino

Good advice given.

No need to carry more tha a few days to a weeks worth.
You may want to do some Google work and come up with the Spanish translation of your " stuff"

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
There is no real border between EU countries anymore, so carry all you want to carry. Real question is, do you really need those pills?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.
