we have been discussing this Camino route, and whilst it is wonderful to walk, it is long and hard and varied in climate, accommodation and general infrastructure etc.
As I walked myself, I was a little jealous of the cyclists we met as they seemed to be having such a great and relatively effortless time by comparison to we walkers. Indeed it did seem to suit them.
It would be great if this route, which is undervalued and under appreciated IMHO,could become the mecca for cycling the Camino, so that numbers requiring accommodation and infrastructure are swelling and facilities for all, walkers and cyclists and dare I forget the equine fanciers? ( including the locals) could gradually improve.

As the article says, the National highways along much this route are fabulous, with wide shoulders and very little traffic. The cyclists I met seemed to all be having a wonderful trip. Thanks for sharing this link!
