Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Not for me this year, but do enjoy it. A lovely camino. We walked it in early May/June. We had many cloudy days and a fair amount of rain, but we also had some glorious sunny days. And the landscape is spectacular. In May the flowers are simply stunning.

Hi Loretta,
I'm also doing the Camino del Norte although, due to time restraints I am not sure where I am starting . I originally planned to begin in Saint Sebastain but I'm not sure now. I really want to go all the way but I might have to take transport at some point between destinations, however I aim to do at least 80 % walking.

Hi Gypsy We arrive in Madrid on the 2nd May and start in Irun on the 4th and with no time restraints have allowed 8 weeks!! We took 7 weeks for the CF - there's no rush!!! Will look out for you..

Lori,
I've just finished reading Buen Camino: a Pilgrimage Walk, by Peter Bugler. This describes the Norte very well - the two pilgrims do it in some style, avoiding Alburgues and enjoying lots of rest days and public transport days. (My kind of Camino!)

Hi Margaret, Hope it's an ebook - will look it up on my Kindle. Will enjoy the read but unfortunately it'll be as many alburgues as possible for us! We have allowed 8 weeks so we can saunter the Camino and have a few rest days along the way enjoying the Spring flowers:)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Unfortunately not, as I just looked too.
Hi Brianne...Thanks for your note. We are slow walkers so look forward to a chat if you overtake us! It will take us 2 days to get to San Sebastian! Yes, the 1st May can't come quick enough

I just purchased the Kindle version on Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation Margaret
