Hi,
We are wanting to send a bag to Santiago for storage, but leave Madrid on the 20th of April, Easter Saturday. We are travelling to Pamplona and will leave Pamplona for Roncesvalles on the 21st, Easter Sunday.
My questions are:
  1. Will we be able to post the bag from Madrid airport on this day?
  2. Should we take it to Pamplona, where I'm sure we can't post it on Easter Sunday, but may be able to store it there until we come back to Pamplona and post it then? When does the postal service close down over Easter.
  3. Any better ideas?
Thanks for your advice in advance.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Most everything in Spain closes for four of five days over Easter. From Holy (Maundy) Thursday or Good Friday, through Easter Monday, most places are either closed or on reduced hours. HOtels and restaurants remain open. Best verify everything else first.

Here is a link to a comprehensive chart of public holidays in Spain, assume the Correos is closed then:

Here is the AENA web page for the post offices located at Barajas Airport in Madrid.

Hopefully, the information you seek is contained here. I did not have a lot of success finding information via the www.correos.es website.

Hope this helps.
