El Pito to Rellayo

Camino 2024 unknown starting 4/1 from somewhere.
I am not sure what happened here as I was following arrows and shells but the walk from El Pito to El Rellayo seemed more like 8km's than 4km's. As I came upon the Hotel Marino, I could not resist the setting. Going to spend the night here by the Sea (30 euros with breakfast). Today was a beautiful walk from Salinas to here with the exception of the piece from Lupa. Not sure what happened. The map shows the route paralleling the highway but I kept crossing over and under. That said, it appears I am to be rewarded with this lovely setting.

Update: my room even has a patio with a stunning view of the Sea. Joe is a happy Pilgrim.

Ultreya,
Joe

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
¿Le preguntaste a una señora por donde iba el camino cuando llegaste a Soto del Barco?. Si es así, te vi y creo que bajaste por la carretera general en vez de por donde está marcado el camino.

Did you ask a lady where I was going the way when it came to Soto del Barco?. If so, I saw and I think it came down by the main road instead of on the road where noted.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
If any place has an almost mystical symbolism inside of me from my caminos then it is this place Concha de Artedo. It has a special meaning from my 1st camino, and on my 2nd when I flew home from A Coruna the only break in the thick cloud that was over Western Europe happened briefly when I could see the distinctive outline of this bay. You are a lucky, lucky Man!

Desde otro punto de vista.

From another point of view.
