Emergency contacts for Spain while on the camino

Shirin

New Member
Hola dear members,

I wonder if it is possible to get the essential emergency contacts for Spain...in the case of injury and so on. Please that would be very important . . . Unless of course, I can easily obtain these emergency contacts early on at the office, or albergues :)

p.s. I'm departing from Australia on the 23rd, next week.

[I would imagine these important contacts would be included in the maps, guide books..and I did purchase the Brierley map but failed to receive it on time, and as a result I got a refund]

Warm regards,

Shirin.

The emergency telephone number for all of Europe is 112. Add it to your phone now! When you call a multi lingual operator will answer and transfer the call to the correct authorities to help you.

Be sure to read this important Forum thread by Navarricano on Emergency numbers >> frequently-asked-questions/topic17361.html

For emergencies you should also have handy your travel insurance policy number as well as how to contact the provider and the telephone number of a family member who should be contacted in case of need.

Let's hope that you never need to use any of these!.

Stay safe and have a Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith
