Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Interetsingly the site doesn't tell you whether you need to speak Spanish.

A major blunder IMHO.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thank you. There were so many pages I didn't open them all. I guess I expected that info to be on the front page. But that's just me.

Appreciate the clarification.

In fact they do not want the english speakers to know or speak Spanish, it is felt this may cause a problem if it is spoken that the Spaniards may want to speak it instead of english, if you have the time it is a great program to take part in, the days are filled with great comradery. I took part in this program twice, 2004 and 2005, it was at this program I learned about the Camino, my first thought, who would walk that far? Well, know I know, me and thousands of others!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I wondered if anyone had recent experience as an English speaking volunteer they'd be happy to share.
There is a similar organisation called Pueblo Ingles. I appreciate this is not purely Camino related but I am interested in the possibility of combining volunteering and pilgrimage, ( pilgrimeering, volunpilgriming.....)

I thought the same thing. Combine English language with walking a route and serving as hoapitalero. Great minds must think alike.

There is another company called DIVERBO who do the same type of volunteering holiday. Diverbo do Sunday to Sunday. Vaughan Town do Sunday to Friday evening. Both companies have a meeting/tapas party for the volunteers on the Saturday evening at their Madrid offices. My daughter has applied with Diverbo for late June.

Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
I struggle with social anxiety and I was wandering if anybody with the same issue had a positive experience on the Camino walking alone. I saw lots of posts and videos people talking about forming...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Money stolen from bag on bed while sleeping. Estelle municipal hostel. Not a big inconvenience as my passport and credit cards were left.
Or do you prefer Cromwell's attitude? Put your trust in God and keep your powder dry. I am starting to get tired of the attitude that it isn't necessary to take reasonable care and thought...
