The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Halz und Beinbruch. Or, as Google would translate: break a leg.

I've never understood how such a phrase represents a wish for good luck and fortune, but well, that's just what it is!

Buen Camino.

Correct. Google has it's moments....
As with so many languages it's all about context.
Well, not sure about context helping in this case. She might ambitiously run. In my long life I have never used “laufen” to mean running. In my youth we used the perfectly suitable word “rennen”. Don’t know how “laufen”gradually acquired this additional meaning.
Sorry, language is not the subject of this thread. Except one last comment on lagnuage: from the atavar Suchende we know that this 63 year old is a woman. If she were a man she would have added an r - Suchender.
So, Suchende, I wish you lots of nice and enriching encounters, good weather and on the whole a buen camino!

Language gradually evolves and not always for the better - it's exactly the same in English. Sometimes I hear and read things in English that absolutely make me wince.
Re: people running on camino - on my last camino I had a young man pass me. He wasn't truly running, more jogging . He had a Shell on his day pack and when I shouted after him are you doing the camino he replied : Yes ! Buen Camino....
Who knows, perhaps @Suchende is actually out there right now, jogging along....
Either way, like you I wish her a Buen Camino

Upps!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Es tut mir leid, nein. Aber machen Sie sich keine Sorgen, ich bin sicher, Sie werden etwas finden.
Gute Glück!

(Sorry no, but don't stress I'm sure you'll find something. Good luck!)

Translated by Google Translate:

"Oops!

No, I run, I don't run, I just walk, and slowly.

I still have to get hiking poles in Porto. My knees are better with sticks.

I'm a little worried. Also stay overnight in public hostels. First stop would be Albergue Vila Cha. Next Povoa de Varzim. As far as I know, this doesn't work with reservations. Does anyone know what the filling level currently looks like?"

@Suchende In case you haven't noticed this is generally an English language forum. We would appreciate it if you could use Google Translate, or DeepL, or a friend, or some other resource to translate your posts to English before you post them. That way they only have to be translated once and not by everyone who reads them and we don't have to keep adding another post with the translation. Thank you.
