Hello! We started our first Camino Frances in Ponferrada on April 29th and finished today, Mother’s Day!

Mostly positive impressions of all aspects of the Camino. There were some sections along the way the markings were infrequent, and if you wander around in some of the towns, there aren’t many signs to get you back on course.

Overall a wonderful experience! I think the most negative part was our accommodations in O Pedrouso, stayed at Pension Compas, not the cleanest, and the WI-FI in our room was pretty much nonexistent. For someone like us from the US, we pretty much need WI-FI to communicate VIA WhatsApp with those back home.

I also thought communication along the way was more difficult than I expected since I do not speak Spanish, thank goodness my girlfriend is fluent in Spanish!

Looking forward to the next one!
