Time of past OR future Camino
April 2016
Pardon me if this has been asked before, I looked and couldn't find an answer:
I am scheduled to start The Camino April 3. Although I am confident about the journey I was wondering about continuing to Finisterre.

1. Is this route marked also?
2. Does anyone know the availability of transportation from Finisterre back to Biarritz for a flight back home?

I have alot of other questions but they can wait. I am eager to begin my journey and meeting other Pilgrims.

Any help would be appreciated.

Eric

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The route from SdC to Finisterre is marked just as well as the Frances, so its excellent.

Going to Biarritz you will first need to get back to SdC by bus from Finisterre. plenty of choice here from morning until night.
From there i think it would be best to fly or train to Bilbao or San Sebastian and from there go to Biarritz by bus, unless there might be a direct flight from SdC to Biarritz, but i dont know if there are any direct flights.

You fly home from Biarritz to....?

Welcome Eric, yes the way is well marked and there are buses from Finisterre to Santiago. You should search you travel options from there. This is a beautiful walk.

Shalom Eric and Greetings from Jerusalem, six hours before the blizzard!
Do walk to Fistera, do take the Fistera document something like a Compostela found at the albergue there, do duck when you try and hang it on the wall at home, it is more than a little bit, ah, well, ...tacky.

Yes. It was easier for me to schedule it that way.
I plan on going all the way to Finisterra since this is my first pilgrimage I wanted to make the most of the trip.
Thank you for your answer and my very best to you.
