They way and the people are beautiful. It was such a great walk. We have a blog/our journal about it.
 
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Mostly along the coast, fair amount of sand walking. There are cheap youth hostels along the way but book ahead, especially if it is summer. I finished at Cabo St Vincent then walked into Sagres and then got a bus to Lagos. I stayed in Lagos then got the bus back to Lisbon.
