Hi,
In our mad dash for the airport we forgot our credentials behind us.

We flew into porto late lastnite & stayed in matoshinos. Walked to vila do conde today presuming we could get one on route but it is posing difficult.

We have tried the tourist information & our hostel in vila do conde with no luck. Going to try the santa clara albeurge next.

Going to rates tomorrow. Any suggestions where to try between here & rates?

Will the camino albeurges accept a notebook with stamps to prove us to be pilgrims to stay there if we cant get one?

We are only walking as far as Rendondala as we are short on time.

Regards,
Martina.

Rates being the first albergue on that stretch (more pilgrimy than touristy?) you may have some luck there. Bit, if push comes to shove, wihy not kist take the metro back to Porto to get one from the cathedral. It's a short metro ride away from Vila do Conde.

Thanks guys i'm heading back to porto by metro this morning to the cathedral to get them. My other half is heading on to rates & i'll meet him there later on.

One final question can i wear my backpack into the cathedral to get to the little shop inside it or will i have to leave it outside?

Last time I was in Porto (spring 2015) nobody checked bags and the place to get the credencial was just right hand side of the entrance door. BC SY
