Hi all. Happy new year!!

I am new to this ... I am walking the French Camino on the 25/4/18, arriving at Bordeaux airport on the 24/4 at 16.45, hoping to get to Bayonne on the same day but it will be too late to get to SJPP, anyone travelling at the same date?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Bee and Happy New Year to you too!

Might be a good idea to try again about a week before you travel, there is a shared mini bus service that can be booked between Bayonne and SJPdP which requires a day or so notice to arrange.

Arriving at Bordeaux Airport you would need to get to the Bordeaux rr station and then take a train to Bayonne where you might spend the night. Early the next morning you could take the local TER ligne 62 train to SJPdP.
It might be easier/simpler to fly to Biarritz/Bayonne airport if possible, take an airport bus to the Bayonne rr station and then continue by TER ligne 62 train to SJPdP.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
There are a number of fine inexpensive hostals and hotels near the Bayonne train station. Do rely on what mspath says...

Thank you for your advice, unfortunately I have already booked the flight to Bordeaux, will stay in bayonne for a night and take the first train out to SJPdP and plan to walk to Roncesvelles ...
