Getting QR code at church in Milladoiro?

Time of past OR future Camino
2021
I have read that there is a church in Milladoiro where you can get the QR code for your compostela (in advance of getting to Santiago). It seems to be like getting into the queue and holding a place. Is this correct? What is the name of the church? I can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I have a vague memory - actually, a rather clear memory 🤓 - that this is not correct but I cannot find the relevant posts here or on FB.
  • As far as I can tell from all recent reports, you can get the ticket with the number for your place in the queue for obtaining your Compostela only at the Pilgrims Office. This ticket shows a number and a QR code which is nothing else than a link to a webpage where you can monitor how far the waiting line has progressed and when your turn is imminent.

  • Also, a vague memory that in albergues close to Santiago, such as in Monte do Gozo and Milladoiro, the hospitaler@s will encourage and assist pilgrims to fill in the online form for applying for a Compostela. Filling in this online form is a precondition for subsequently getting the waiting line ticket in paper form. The link to this online form is displayed in the form of a QR code to make it easy to be read by a smartphone but you can access this link directly through the website of the Oficina del Peregrinos. It is this link:
https://catedral.df-server.info/agencias/Banderas.aspx?ind=1 (ignore the "agencias" bit. It is the link to the individual form)
IOW, you can fill in the online form independently of any QR code, and you can obtain the paper ticket with the QR code for monitoring your waiting time only at the Pilgrims Office.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
If you’re walking the Camino Portugues right now I’d recommend you avoid the complementario route into Pontevedra. While it is quiet and green and follows the river, it’s also a muddy mess. I...
