Does anyone know if glucose tablets are readily available on the Camino Francés? I would hate to carry extra bottles unnecessarily. Thanks... I start my Camino September 4th!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I would suggest that you try the farmacias along the route, but if these are a medical need then bring some with you. Most towns will have several farmacias and they are very helpful, especially to pilgrims. The pharmacist can see what you need I expect from the label on your bottle.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The farmacias also stock rehydration powders, but be careful as you are diabetic. Some have sugar/glucose and others are 'sports' ones and have artificial sweetener.

Do your body a favour and eat fruit and so on rather than unhealthy synthetic supplements imho.

One kind of important part of your body mainly runs on glucose.

The only unnatural part of pure glucose is that it's pure. That fruit you're eating will be a mix of fructose glucose and other sugars. The exact ratio depending on the fruit type.

My guess the OP is looking for a certain dosage/size of tablet.

No?

As a diabetic for over 30 years I found it easier to reduce my Insulin levels dramatically to avoid the risk of hypo's. hopefully with good control the need for glucose tablets is minimised and the small weight of bringing a few packs of a brand you know from home is the better option.

The Farmacias in the bigger towns will have what you're looking for, they take care of pilgrims and even help diagnose to determine what you need.
