Has anyone had a pack from Lundhags?

Hi All,
I have a 20l Osprey pack, which I was hoping to take in May on the Primitivo, however I am now looking at the Talon 33 but have just come across Lundhag Jamten 35 and it is carry on size and at a reasonable £65.
Has anyone had any experience with the brand or this model?
I am looking for a bigger pack as a precaution for food and sleeping bag.
The Talon 33 is over the max carry on size, but was hoping to squash it down to suit the measurements if I get questioned.
Any help appreciated.:)

If you are looking at the manufacturer's measurements for the Talon, that typically represents the pack with the top compartment fully stuffed. The only thing that matters is what the measurements are when you walk onto the airplane, and whether it fits inside the measuring compartment. The Talon 33 generally is within the size limits if you don't fill the top. Fill it and measure it yourself.

I have the Osprey Sirris 36L and it has always met requirements on my international flights. The frame and filled interior are fine, but I always leave the top piece (brain) empty except for my quart bag of liquids. Any other additional items are in a very light weight day bag "personal item" , stored under the seat until I get to my destination when I add the contents to my pack. I then store the empty bag in my pack.

@Gingerbaldy , not a pack I've tried, but that's really beside the point.

THE most important consideration bar none is fit. It doesn't matter what we think of it, or what works for us - if it's not comfortable, it's not even worth considering. You really need to try it on. Compare it to the Talon 33, and go from there.

I’d never heard of this company until today but a quick google shows they’re a Swedish company established in 1932 so the fact they’re still trading suggests their stuff is quality. It looks a decent pack but the only way to be sure is to try it on and see if it works for you. If you order from SportPursuit you have 30 days to return it.

Thanks for the replies.
I have tried the Talon 33 and it was very comfortable, as is my other Osprey.
Great advice re the personal item bag.
Thanks again all.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
