Seventy five or more pilgrims will be converging on Saint Jean Pied du Port the same day you are. They are all planning to start the next morning.

There will be lots of pilgrims to meet. You can share your hopes, dreams, and even fears for the Camino. The excitement as the first day draws near is so strong, you can taste it.

Hi Donal,

I'm Andy from Melbourne, Australia and will also be arriving at SJPP on 13th August late afternoon by train from Paris.

I have reserved my first night at the 'L’Esprit du Chemin' hostel and will be heading off the next morning 14th August.

I guess if you arrive the same night we'll be starting off the same day.

Might be seeing you soon.
