Hiking poles in Porto, Portugal

Any recommendations for a good hiking supplies store in the vicinity of the Cathedral Se in Porto, Portugal to buy a set of hiking poles?

I got mine at Decathalon in Porto in April. They were 6 euro each. Make sure to get pole tips there because they don’t come with them. I took an Uber to Decathalon from the center of town and walked back. I wish I had taken an Uber back because it was a long walk back.

You are correct. I have gone to Decathlons in 4 or 5 cities and they have always been easy to get to with public transportation. Many Decathlons are located outside of city centers.

Bought them in the first week of May at Decathlon in Porto. Tried to take a bus on a Saturday afternoon but it was a disaster-no buses in 30 minute waits at two different stops, despite what the posted schedule showed. I ended up walking an hour back to my room. Was a good warm up for the Camino beginning the next day!

Can say about shops, but I did find using the rubber tips to be helpful in keeping your poles from sticking in the cracks of the cobble stones along the way.

Does anyone know if Decathlon is easy to get to from the airport?

You can get to the Porto Decathlon by taking a metro train from the airport into the center and then catching a bus or walking from there. It's not difficult and takes some time; I guess it depends on your own feelings about what "easy" means. If you use Google Maps on your phone, you can bring up the airport, then choose the Decathlon store and select the directions option. It will provide you the details you need for various transport options, with transfers, and the approximate time needed. Best of luck!

There's a North Face store downtown Porto, very easy walk from the Cathedral. Probably won't find 6 euro poles, but it's easy to find and no metro or taxi hassle. It's where we got our poles...

Apparently except in Leon. Where it is out of the city centre but not significantly faster to get to by public transit than by walking.

When I Google Map searched it showed two locations and said one is permanently closed. I don’t know Porto, I’ve only been there once so I don’t know the actual names of each Decathalon. Someone going to Porto for the first time isn’t going to know the difference between Matosinhos or Boavista. I don’t even know which one I went to in April. Be considerate that we aren’t all experts and we have different experiences. Not everyone needs to be a Porto expert to comment.

You are right, not everyone needs to be a Porto expert to comment, and that is why I didn't just say "decathlon store in porto", I used their actual names, to make it easier for other people to find these stores.
If you Google Decathlon Matosinhos and Decathlon Boavista you immediately get the stores I was talking about.

And I was being considerate when in my second message I wrote:
