Hey all, I just got my assignment yesterday. I will be serving as a hospitalera in Santo Domingo de la Calzada from October 16-31, 2011. If any of you stay there during that time, please say hello! I'll be wearing my Canadian hospitalera bandana proudly!! (I went through training in Canada even though I am American :) It was a great experience.)

I'm planning to fly in/out of Madrid. Still working out details for spending extra time in Spain.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Buen Camino from Keizer :D

Come up to Portland for one of our Camino walks sometime. We have them quarterly. I post the info in the North American Region area here. I also have a Google Group setup with the link in my signature line!

Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I would have liked to do it this summer, but airfare is KILLING me right now! October also worked better as far as vacation time goes. I'm trying to figure out if we will go to Bilbao or Madrid after serving. I am also interested in Portugal too. I'd like to spend a week seeing some of the things I didn't have time to last time. There's also a part of me that wants to walk along the Camino again for a bit. Or maybe go to SDC and finally walk to Finisterre....so many choices!

Cool! I hope to see you. I wonder how busy it will be at that time of year.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Congratuations on your assignment! That was my favorite alburgue, I remember the Canadian hospitaleros well. If I ever go through training that would be at top of my list, also somewhere in Galicia would be great to serve.
Altreya,
Barry
