After earlier snow, blizzards, rain and win, I finished my Frances through santiago to Muxía and on to Fisterra last week in perfect weather. On to Paris for a few days of R&R before the long flight home to Oz - all began well until yesterday when I went to Normandy to visit some Camino family. They're right - it snowed in Normandy yesterday!!

I was worried that the daily wine bottle I carry for impromptu picnics would turn into a frozen margarita machine but thankfully we drank it before it could....

Warming up now - sunny all week in the 15c to 20c range towards Leon.

Sitting in the square in Villafranca de Bierzo, drinking wine in beautiful evening sunlight. Forecast looks great for next few days
