During a pre Camino visit to my doctor to discuss health matters that may arise I noticed a leaflet detailing aged care facilities on his desk.
Now I'm of an age when such considerations start to intrude on one's thoughts.
"How do you determine when a person should be put in an Old Folks Home?" I asked.
"Well," he said, "I fill up a bath, then give them a teaspoon, a cup, and a bucket. Then I ask the person to empty the bath."
"Good oh," I said. "I suppose a normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon and the teacup and would empty the bath quicker."
"No," he said, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed by the window?"
