Hallo, Rosemarie here. I’m planning to walk the Camino del Norte in September.
My question: has anyone used Pilgrim.es to organise the accommodation and luggage transfer?
Any comments and reviews are welcome. Thanks and regards RM

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi, Rosmarie and a big warm welcome to the forum.

Others may answer your question directly.

Given your previous Caminos, did you have a business organize your accommodations on those walks? I was just wondering because with your experience, it seems so easy to do the pre-booking with Booking, com or similar. Personally, I just could not see myself paying others to do it for me.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks for your comments guys.

I was planning to do it myself, using the Correos bag transfer service but my guide books arrived this week (thanks Ivar!) and I felt quite overwhelmed by all the info. Plus.....I'm a lazy sod who likes to know my bed and bag is waiting for me....hassle free.

On the other hand, I do want the challenge of getting out of my comfort zone.....plus save money....

Decisions decisions!

:) Quite understandable, Marie.

I will say that arranging for a transfer and booking a day ahead are not really very challenging, so You probably won't meet your 'challenge' quotient there :)

There is a lot of information on this forum that will help sort out any confusion, and boost your confidence levels on doing it yourself.

aaahhhhh…….but letting go of control (ie it's arranged so no suprises please) is a challenge in itself!
Plus I don't even have a smart phone, nor do I particularly want one.
Plus....did I mention capital L lazy?
hehe

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Would you consider just packing your light bag and carrying it on your back and stopping when you're tired? Can't get more lazy than that, other than not going at all!
