Hi Barry, I have bookmarked it and will start reading tonight. Looking forward! Dolfina

Hi Barry - I liked your blog

I walked from Le Puy in July/August 2013 - wonderful, wonderful !! - and like you I was lucky with the weather. Also I recognise a few of your photos - Le Puy itself of course, the underpass of the Motorway, the dining room at Le Soulie (- Remy wasnt there, as I recall he was away on holiday, and the place was being minded by a Group of Scouts - the Girl Scouts were sleeping in the Yurt - there was a thunderstorm the night I was there as well...!!), Conques of course, and also at Brigitte's place - quite a character isn't she? - she had us pelerins picking the dandelion leaves, herbs + marigold flowers from the garden for dinner (- the young daughter of a French couple thought this was a huge joke, and her parents were trying to 'shush' her up to avoid embarrassment ...!!), and finally the square/place in Figeac
Thanks for the memories
I got as far as Moissac, and I am looking ahead to the time I can continue on from there, but unfortunately I wont see you this year...!
