Just watched John's walk from Cee to Finisterre, which I did in August did not realise how dangerous the walk was along road into Finisterre cars flying and no distinct path.
I vaguely remember three Italian pilgrims screaming at me to take care as I strolled across road a close call.
Let pilgrims beware !!!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Really? I walked it this year.
I don't recall any dangerous road........
The last bit to Fisterra I walked along the beach though.

I just found his video.
I can see there were sections with no sidewalk but there was a shoulder.
I don't recall ever feeling unsafe though.

Maybe there wasn't much traffic when I walked it in late May.

Same here in 2018. I thoroughly enjoyed removing my blown out shoes and walking barefoot thru the surf the last couple miles. I do not remember any dangerous road between Santiango and Fistere.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

Same here in late July. Maybe I missed the traffic by walking along the beach during the last stretch instead of the road. Maybe I lucked into a time with less traffic.

It wouldn't be the first time I didn't notice extra danger where others did (between Vila do Conde and Arcos comes to mind).

Pointing out what I see as possible hazards on the way is not an attack on others feeling of safety not meant to cause controversy, its merely an observation from years of filling out safety reports and statements and hazards.
It's Bourn out of concern and if it makes anyone think once it's reached its intended targets .
The final few Kms to Finisterre along the road are not memorable I am sorry I didn't know to walk along beach 🏖.

I wasn't complaining about your post, just offering my experience.

I walked Cee to Fisterra in September but did not recognise that road section. I did however recognise the path I chose coming out of the hill and crossing the road to go down to the beach (where John finally left the road). When I watched the video, I reckoned that John had simply missed the turn off from the main road onto the quieter path and had no choice but to walk that section. I'm sure we have all been there at some point or other.
