Hello all! I apologize if this has been asked and answered, I struggle finding posts on my phone. I think I've read that most gites, etc, have bedding on le puy. Is it necessary to carry a sleeping bag? Planning to do the Cele variant, as well.

Thank you!

Most of the places to stay, if they are open in April, have comfortable sleeping accommodations; unless you are rough camping.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Do you think a sleeping bag liner would be sufficient? I'm trying to pack super light
Yes. Absolutely, only a liner. We walked the whole of the Le Puy and stayed exclusively in gites. All places had bottom sheets and blankets. Plus they are pretty fanatical about bed bug prevention in that you generally have to leave your pack outside the room, and bring in only what you need for the night.

Awesome, thanks!

I walked that route and Cele variant in the same time last spring. Just carried a Sea to Summit silk liner and was fine. As described above, all places have bedding. Cele is lovely but depending on your travel days check to see if food will be available. We carried bread and cheese and fruit and were fine when shops were closed.
