I have my airline tickets and my pack is ready to go. I'm leaving southern California on 26/08/13 and arriving in Paris next morning. Will spend the night in Bayonne and take the train to SJPDP Wednesday morning. Have an extra bed in Bayonne if any one needs a place to spend Tuesday night.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I too will be leaving on 8/26 fling to Paris However, I'm taking the train all the way to St. Jean. Enjoy your trip!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Hi Uptown, Im on roughly the same schedule. I leave MA on Monday night, get to Paris on the 27th, spend the day there and then take the train to SJPDP. I hit the Camino bright and early on the 29th.

Wow! It seems that no matter what day you leave there are going to be other pilgrims also leaving. Buen Camino to all of you and hope to see some of you as me pass me by. I'll be the retired mailman looking like he should be walking up to everybody's door...UptownJames

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
So excited!!! I fly from ATL to Madrid on 8/26. I'll take the train to Leon where I'll start my Camino. Everyone says that Leon is a great place to explore, but I have a feeling that I'll be antsy and want to start walking.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

Leaving Leon can be QUITE dreary. Read this earlier Forum thread describing the pleasant more rural alternative camino route going west from the town of Virgen del Camino where there is an extraordinary contemporary church. >> http://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/train-tickets-and-weather.18777/. Don't miss the church!
