Light Sleeping Bag Recommendation

I bought this Oland Down sleeping bag, because I wanted to buy a cheapish lightweight down bag in Australia.
http://www.velogear.com.au/outdoors/cam ... g-bag.html
Priced at $99. Reasonably sized-220cm x 80/50cm. Lightweight- 800gms. Compressed size- 260mm x 160mm (I can squeeze it smaller than this!).
Free shipping at the moment, usually $10
I lent it to a Brisbane guy who is 6'4'' and he did a spring Camino Frances and said it was fine.
I'm a six footer, did an autumn Camino Frances and it was fine.

That's a four season bag allegedly.
Absolutely no way is the Oland suitable for a European winter, but eminently suitable for spring & autumn. I use a sleeping sheet in the summer.
IMO that Quechua bag looks a little light - to 15C- for spring and autumn, but then there are usually blankets available at albergues if needed. Quechua eqpt. is usually well made & well priced.

Unless you're sleeping outdoors does it matter?

Even with the heat off I can't imagine many of the hostels get below 10C.

I`m struggling with the decision of whether or not to buy an ultralight sleeping bag. I have a down throw (about 720 grams) and a silk sleep sack (150 grams) - I'm wondering if that will be enough.

Thanks for the bag recommendation.

I bought a lifeventure sleeplight 750 for £35. It's synthetic down and weighs 750g.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
