December and January are the lowest season of all on the camino, especially farther back to the east, and in the middle of the meseta. You will no doubt meet some other pilgrims, but you´ll be lucky to find them in advance. And brush up on your Korean... there are LOTS of friendly Korean pilgrims walking in wintertime!
Stop in and see us in Moratinos. We have a soft spot for winter pilgrims... It´s lonely out here!

Hi Jess

I will be walking the Camino at the same time as you. I start in SJPDP on the 15th Jan 2011(actual day i start to walk) so we could find ourselves on the same stretch. I'm also walking solo and am Glad to hear there is someone else along the same stretch as myself.

I think my journey will take me around 3 or 4 days depending on Snow cover over the Pyrenees. This gets me into Pamplona for 18th or 19th. If you are still looking for a walking companion for morel encouragement and safety, I would be more that happy to slow my pace by 1 or 2 days to co-inside with your arrival in Pamplona.

Looking forward to your reply, and wishing you a merry Christmas and a great Camino 2011

Andrew
