My daughter and I are walking the Camino Portugues in September 2019 and will have a suitcase that needs to be transferred directly from Lisbon to Santiago. I have been in touch with Tuitrans but they only transport from Oporto to Santiago. Just wondering if anyone has used any other luggage transfer companies in Lisbon recently, or has any suggestions as to how we could do it.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Neill; wondering if you found a solution; my wife and i are hoping to transfer luggage from Lisbon to Santiago also in Aug 2023

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I'd be interested to find out as well. We will be walking from Coimbra to Santiago next month and are trying to find a service that will transfer a suitcase from Coimbra directly to Santiago before we start walking.

I just sent a carry on sized suitcase from Lisbon to Santiago on Friday from the post office in Lisbon. It arrived today on Monday. The suitcase was not put in a box and the post office just wanted a lock on the bag. They taped the delivery address directly on the luggage. I had no issues. The video for Casa Ivar explains why you may want to use DHL, but I had no issue using the regular postal service in Portugal.

I am walking from Lisbon (in Coimbra now) and struggled to find a carrier. I'm stopping in Porto for five days, and finally found Luggage Driver (I believe luggagedriver.com), who will handle both daily transport and direct transport from Lisbon to Porto or Santiago. I suspect they will be able to pick up from Coimbra as well.

Tank you. That looks like a very good option for shipping directly from Lisbon too.
