Madrid to Pamplona transportation

hello! I'm walking el camino in a couple of weeks! I'm arriving in Mardid at 1120 am and was planning on catching a bus to pamplona. Do you think it is realistic to be able to catch the bus leaving at 1245? I was hoping to stay at the Jesus y Maria alburgene in Pamplona that night. Do you think I would be able to stay there if I didn't arrive until 1930 or possibly 2015 if I don't catch that first bus?

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
You should be able to catch the bus at the airport. Check your date, time and pick up place on the Alsa.es website. If it says Madrid Barajas you can catch the bus there.
Jesys y Maria closes at 23h00 so you should make it easily.
Have a great Camino!

Several coaches each day from Madrid bus station to Logrono and Pamplona - fast and comfortable.
Madrid metro goes to bus station from Barajas airport.

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
I travelled on PLM today, cheap! modern, great! I believe Alsa costs more and there is a transfer. It is a quick trip on the metro from the airport to bus depot.

Thanks so much for the info! I appreciate it. Does anyone know if you need reservations for the PLM bus? Also is that bus station very far from the airport? The ALS bus is right in the airport, right? Thanks again for all the help!

I don't think you need to reserve for PLM bus - when I travelled from Najera to Madrid I just bought a ticket from the driver. From the airport, take the metro to Colombia, then line 9 to Avenida de America (3 or 4 stops on) which is the central coach station.
Edit - Avenida de America is the bus depot for routes north.
