Marie from Munich

New Member
Hi All

I am still fact checking for my manuscript book "One Step at a Time: Encountering the Many Faces of the Camino - Natural, Human and Divine".

On May 4, 2008, I talked with a woman named Marie in Estella. She was a fitness instructor from Munich. She was in much distress because she was having severe back spasms and was considering abandoning the camino and returning home. She had been eagerly anticipating the camino and saving holiday time for years, so understandably was upset about her situation. I advised her to take some rest in Estella to let her back heal, at least two days, before giving up. I moved on that day and never met her again,

I am wondering if Marie ever resumed her journey. Does anyone know?

Many thanks for your helpful posts,
