I am starting the Norte from Bilbao after attending the European Rugby Finals on 11 and 12 May. Hey you Rugby fans let's form a 35 day scrum all the way from the center of the Spanish Basque Country to SdC.

European Rugby Finals! A good idea to combine rugby and the walk. I am tempted, but I had the idea to start the beginning of June.
I did the Lisbon to Santiago pilgrimage this year, the easy way with accommodation booked for me, My Norte will be my first Camino that I have to find food and a resting place.
    Good Luck to you.

Finding both food and resting places on the Norte is relatively easy. Enjoy your time there.
