About a year ago I read that their was some discussion that there was talk about increasing the minimum walking distance to qualify for a Compostela from 100 to 300 kilometers.
I have not seen anything further to this in quite some time.
Is this still a possibility?
Anyone with any new info on this.
Not concerned, I already have two of them!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Maybe you should address your question in already existing thread about that:

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Still 100km for walking pilgrims and still two stamps necessary per day on those last 100km. All this is, most likely, the situation for the nearer future. Buen Camino, SY

Just one exception has been granted recently. For those walking the 75kms on the Camino Inglés from A Coruña - it is accepted providing at least 25 kms have been walked on a route from home with stamps to prove it. Chiefly for UK and Irish pilgrims who can walk a local pilgrimage route or from home to the airport/ferry and then train/ bus to Coruña. This is in recognition of the route's historical background and importance.
