A 71 year old French pilgrim remains missing in the province of Ourense.

112 Emergency sources told Efe that his disappearance occurred between the villages of Laza and Gudiña A, where he failed to arrive. Troops of Civil Protection and Gruman A Gudiña as well as Laza, continue the search for the pilgrim.
The pilgrim's traveling companions warned Civil Protection Laza their possible disappearance in the stretch of the Via da Prata, from A Gudiña Laza after he failed to arrive at the the hostel.

The head of Civil Protection Laza, Barreal Ramon, told Efe that they have no data to say where the pilgrim, who does not answer his cell phone has gone, but the search continues today at crossings and roads adjacent to the Via da Prata in case he was confused by the maps. A group of five other pilgrims left Seville and walked the same stage each day. Paul Viaud always left a little earlier than others.

Civil Protection Laza had contacted all the shelters and hostels in the district to notify them in the event that he was there.
They are looking for a man with white hair and beard, black clothes and white sneakers.

Fellow pilgrims continued today the way Vilar de Barrio
