Future September - October '2017'
Hey I'm Marty!
My Camino Francis Journey begins early this September in SJPdP.
I'm expecting this to be a physically challenging pilgrimage.
I'm also hoping it will be a journey to clarity of heart and mind.
I hope it will allow me to contemplate what is truly important and what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.

Hope to see you out there, don't forget to say Hi!

Having been there last September I met a great group of folks from Australia, including Perth as I am sure you will. Met people from all continents, old, young, in the middle; ones after a physical challenge, a religious camino, both, people searching for what is next, what has happened in their life; everything you can imagine; but everyone was kind and respectful of other travelers. You will undoubtedly get out of the Camino the beginning of the purpose you are looking for. Its a great time to walk weather wise, might be a bit crowded. But you will appreciate it.

We (husband and I) will also begin walking in Sept of this year. Barcelona on the 6th, St Jean on the 9th.

In some ways I am already walking. Planning, putting less and less in the backpack, walking several miles a day with my pack, setting a few days of reservations at the beginning - then nothing. No plans, no miles to make, no expectations, just walking the way and finding what will come my way on the path.

As long as we are back at the airport in Barcelona at the end of Nov.........

Welcome Erorah,

September is a great time to walk.

Buen Camino!

Hi Kent, I appreciate your comments. Wondering how crowded it might really get in September / October and how that will impact trip.
Many thanks Marty
