Hola Everyone,

I just found this site on the net looking for information about the Via de la Plata and in reading some of your names realize I know some of you from the GoCamino list and Santiagobis. Amazing what a virtual community we have.

There is something about the Camino that draws me back year after year. It took me three summers to walk from SJPP to Santiago from 2001-2003. Then in the summer of 2005, I went back and walked from Porto, Portugal and also from El Ferrol. And this September, now that I'm no longer working for the school district, I am planning to walk the Via de la Plata from Sevilla. I will begin my walk on September 22 and hope to arrive in Santiago around the beginning of November - my first time to walk such a long distance at once.

I also worked as a hospitalera in the refugio in Ponferrada during the latter part of July thru the first week of August, 2005 even though I don't speak Spanish very well.

I look forward to being a part of this forum.
